Easiest banana bread ever.
Self-isolating at home has meant that TikTok has crept into my life. Honestly a time waster but a great way to lighten your mood. What I’ve discovered is a bunch of recipes there that others are sharing. While I don’t have time to create video recipes myself, I do enjoy watching them. So that’s when I discovered the easiest recipe ever – blender banana bread.
Don’t be scared with the ingredient list. Everything gets thrown into either a blender or food processor. When I met my now-husband about 10 years ago, he had a blender and food processor combo. Something cheap and cheerful. I barely used it but thought this blender banana bread recipe was a time to pull it out. So in went all the ingredients into the blender. Nothing happened. The blender just wasn’t strong enough to rotate the blades with the ingredients inside. I then scraped all ingredients into the food processor. I should have known better as I got the same result. Oh well… glad I’ve got my smoothie blender to fall back on. Again, I scraped all ingredients into another kitchen appliance but this time… third time lucky… I had success.
Needless to say, the 10-year-old blender and food processor combo of my husband’s got thrown out into the rubbish that night. Two days later I bought myself a new food processor which I’m in love with – the Breville Kitchen Whizz Pro. It wasn’t cheap and while I could have settled for a cheaper yet smaller version, this one had rave reviews. Now it sits proudly on my bench.
