Cooking is part art, part science. The art side often, but not always, takes care of itself. Decorating cakes, and plating food to make it look appealing. The science side is another story. This is the bit that can confuse many and cause issues. Whether it is ingredient substitutions because you don’t have an ingredient readily available at home. Or, you don’t know how to cook meat safely and at what temperature.
